Het eerste wat je opvalt als je Olargues nadert is de brug over de rivier de Jaur. Deze hoge boogburg is ruim 32 meter lang, is gebouwd in de elfde eeuw en heeft als bijnaam de ‘Duivelsbrug’. Waarom is onduidelijk want de officiële naam is de oude burg. Omdat de Jaur aan drie kanten langs het dorp loopt ligt het op een soort schiereiland en was de burg lang de enige toegang tot Olargues.
