Guédelon ligt midden in de bossen van Noord-Bourgondië en is sinds 1997 de plek waar een ‘middeleeuws’ kasteel wordt gebouwd. Het kasteel ‘uit’ de dertiende eeuw wordt nu pas gebouwd volgens de oorspronkelijke technieken. Dit bleek een groot succes waarbij meer dan 300.000 mensen per jaar komen kijken. Een bezoek is ook aan te raden. Het kasteel is open van april tot november.
