Frankrijk is een prachtig land waar je je uitstekend kan vermaken. Het land is echter niet heel goedkoop. Boodschappen zijn bijvoorbeeld iets duurder dan in Nederland maar daar staat tegenover dat benzine en restaurants weer iets goedkoper zijn. Musea, kastelen, dierentuinen, attractieparken en andere bezienswaardigheden zijn over het algemeen niet duur vergeleken met Nederland, maar voor veel moet je toch wel iets betalen.

De oude haven is de grootste toeristische trekpleister van Marseille. Hier is het gezellig en heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de zee. In de haven vaart een pontje en die is gratis. Dat is altijd leuk en goed voor het maken van een foto van de haven.
